Scorcher is a Shotgun Weapon in The Ascent. Scorcher is a Modified Shotgun. Weapons are located on the loadout screen where players may assign a Primary, Secondary and Tactical Weapon. Available guns consist of different Sidearms, Machineguns, Shotguns, Precision Weapons and Excessive Weapons, while other gadgets take up the tactical weapon slot. Each weapon contains varying stats that are also accessible from the loadout menu.

Where to Find Scorcher

• Complete the side mission, The Stash.
  • Start the mission by inspecting the data pad next to a corpse inside ??? near ???
  • The gun can be found inside Linus' Pizza Place in the Gratitude. You will need to be able to hack through the door that has ICE - 1.
  • Loot the gun and return to Iris in Cluster 13 who's at the bar with the Bounties Collector (Bartender). Be careful not to skip through the dialogue too quickly or else you might accidentally take uCreds as a reward. When she asks you for a reward, choose the gun instead of UCREDs to claim the Scorcher.

Scorcher Upgrades

In order to upgrade your weapon, you will need to speak to the Gun Smith and provide the required number of resources to increase its level. There are three types of components that are found through looting areas, establishments, chests, crates, from bodies, defeated enemies, and can also be acquired as a reward for completing certain Missions.
