Armor in The Ascent is an equipment category that is worn by the player's character to acquire defensive properties and protection from hostile characters. In The Ascent, Armor is categorized into three groups such as Head Armor, Torso Armor, and Legs Armor, each having its own statistical values, bonuses, and unique effects. Armor pieces are usually obtained as rewards from completing missions, purchased from merchants, looted from various locations, and are dropped by enemies or bosses. Armor in The Ascent
Every piece of armor gives individual defence rating for each damage type. Make sure to equip armor best suited for the type of incoming damage you want protection from the most. It's also very important that you keep up with the quality of armor as you start encountering enemies of higher level. a lower defense rating will be very punishing against stronger enemies. It's usually a wise investment. Armor can also provide passive boosts to Attributes and Proficiencies.
Quality Color
Items in the Journal appear with different colors. Peach, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Purple. These indicate the quality, level and efficiency.
Better color on augmentations means they're currently scaling well with your Attributes. Armor indicates defence and weapons relate to their MK. upgrade level.
