The Astrosmasher is a powertool made for deep space asteroid mining where it is used to keep incoming meteroids at bay with a barrage of explosives. When used as a weapon it is as bizarre as it is devastating.

Astrosmasher is an Excessive Weapon in The Ascent. Astrosmasher is an Automatic rocket launcher. Weapons are located on the loadout screen where players may assign a Primary, Secondary and Tactical Weapon. Available guns consist of different Sidearms, Machineguns, Shotguns, Precision Weapons and Excessive Weapons, while other gadgets take up the tactical weapon slot. Each weapon contains varying stats that are also accessible from the loadout menu.
