Vital Signs is a Skill in The Ascent. Skills are determining factors of a character's abilities and Stats, and can affect their strength, speed, aim, and ability to evade. There are 8 available skills, and each skill level can be increased up to a level 20, increasing the skill stats as the level increases. All skills are tied to an Attribute which increase in tandem.

How to Level Up Vital Signs

• Upgrading the level of a skill only requires 1 Skill Point and each level strengthens the statistical Health of the skill.
• Players will need to obtain Skill Points which can be done by increasing the character level of the player, each level you gain yields x3 Skill Points.

• You can respec your skills and obtain the total number of Skill Points you've spent by speaking to the Grafter at Cluster 13. Speak to the Grafter and choose "Go in for surgery". By doing so, you'll find yourself at the surgery UI where you can choose to "Reset Skills" for a certain cost of UCRED.
• You can find the various Skills by opening the Main Menu > Character > Skills. There are many skills that resonate with the different attributes that will maximize and unlock the full potential of your character. This page covers information regarding the different Skills feature in The Ascent.
